I was impressed with the Callaway Paradym Star 7 hybrid. The 30° loft is perfect for high, soft landings. The stiff Fujikura Ventus Blue HB 7-S shaft suits faster swing speeds well. At condition 8.5, it's nearly like new – barely any wear. At $179.99, it's a good value for a premium hybrid. The only letdown is no headcover, but the grip is solid. Distance and control are excellent.
